Our bespoke programme trained future leaders in design thinking and put innovation at the heart of the company’s ambitious international growth plans
Pan-European investment management company PATRIZIA has set the ambition to evolve into a global organisation. This means integrating different business models, mindsets and cultures. We were tasked with creating a programme that would nurture emerging talent, develop leaders in design thinking within the business, and create a shared definition of what good leadership looks like to support this transition.
Our three-phase approach began with a deep dive into the needs and challenges of the business, and designing a bespoke programme to best tackle them. In phase two we got buy-in from the senior leadership team and delivered our programme to the first emerging talent cohort. Finally, we measured and reviewed the success of the first cohort so that we could build a repeatable model.
Magnetic Executive Director Sophie Little says: “PATRIZIA has identified the capability and skill of innovation as a key strength for its future leaders. Changing customer needs require the business to innovate fast and efficiently. Over three sprints, this project allowed us to train 30 high-potential people in innovation, service and product design.
“Using a highly practical approach, the participants were tasked with solving five critical challenges for the business by using design thinking and lean methodologies. With this approach, the delegates were able to implement new ways of working and thinking right away.”
This was more than a one-off training programme; it was the start of a new way of working for PATRIZIA.
