BBC

Design partner to the world’s oldest national broadcaster

Long-term collaboration with multiple parts of the world’s oldest national broadcaster, supporting its mission to put digital at the heart of audience engagement

The BBC has been a pioneer in its innovation and experimentation in the digital space. As the longest-serving digital design partner on the BBC’s UX&D roster we’re proud to have worked together on a number of boundary breaking projects over the years. Some of these are:

  • Desert Island Discs: Built the BBC’s first digital archive, with the iconic Desert Island Discs
  • 2012 Olympics: Took sports to the small screen with the first ‘mobile Olympics’ in 2012 for BBC Sport
  • ShakespeareMe: Helped young people connect with Shakespeare 400 years after his death through ShakespeareMe, an interactive app
  • Bitesize: Helped to digitise education with BBC Bitesize, one of the organisation’s biggest and best-loved services
  • BBC Ideas: Satisfied curious minds with the double Webby award-winning interface, BBC Ideas
  • Food and voice: Explored the potential of voice technology in the kitchen with BBC Food
